URI Political Science Professor Nicolai Petro observing political unrest in Ukraine

Nicolai N. Petro, professor of political science at the University of Rhode Island, is living in Ukraine and available for telephone interviews to talk about the country’s growing political unrest.


An expert in Russian history and culture, Petro is in Ukraine for a year on a Fulbright grant to study the role of the Russian Orthodox Church. His op-ed about the protest was published in
