Center Stage

URI’s theater majors learn all aspects of the craft, and our alumni are shaping the theater scene in Rhode Island and beyond.

Watch Us
  • Andrew Burnap A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man - He’s acted with Vanessa Redgrave in London’s hottest play, The Inheritance. The New York Times says he’s an actor to watch. And Broadway.com gushes that he “burns with a bulb-shattering voltage.”
  • Kunal Mankodiya A Perfect Fit: The Human Side of Wearable Technology - Kunal Mankodiya and his students are developing wearable technology to monitor, treat, and help people with Parkinson’s and other medical conditions.
  • Ryan Vallee Infinite Possibilities - Chemistry and physics double major, Ryan Vallee ’19 spent last summer working in the Center for Organic Photonics and Electronics Research lab at Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan, where he developed three molecules involved in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs).
  • Blaine Hymel, Josh Brancazio, Samantha Ward, and Arianna Mouradjian Caring for Wildlife - Arianna Mouradjian '07 has done just about every job at the Wildlife Clinic of Rhode Island. She calls it a "labor of love." At the clinic, where caring for orphaned and injured wild animals is a rewarding effort, URI students fill an urgent need for volunteers.
